| | Customer Reviews: Comfort and Convenience (07 July 2010)I answer a lot of calls when working at my computer, and often I need to be online while I talk. Trying to cradle a phone while typing on the keyboard is not much fun, and using an earpiece, portable phone, w/ belt clip is not much better. This product solves the problem and allows me to even walk around and answer calls. The quality is typical Plantronics ... excellent. The range is also good. I can walk down for a cup of coffee, take a stretch break, or just about anything close to my desk, and never lose a connection. I've tried various other headpieces over the years but I keep returning to Plantronics. I always get the best performance and quality from them. Really good clarity and comfortable to wear (25 March 2010)Just received it this morning and feel strongly that I should write something about it. This is a really nice wireless headset. Setup in 5 minutes. Spend a little more time on 6 different ear pieces comes with it and decided on one with silicon gel that fits really good. The sound quality is decent and is comfortable to wear. It is also lightweight and I can barely felt it. Replacing the ear piece caused me to break one small cushion piece around the connector, but it can be avoided. Don't think it is a quality issue. The headset can be used for either right or left ear. Overall I am very happy about the purchase. Good Product considering the alternative (05 February 2010)I bought this product after having a wired Plantronics headset for about a year. I love the wireless feature, especially when combined with the Handset Lifter. The only complaint I have is the sound quality. Even after calibrating it and calling the set-up number, I can still hear my own voice in the ear piece and there are a variety of cracks and pops when making a call. This could be my telephone (Starplus STS) but it wasn't problem with the last headset. All in all a very good product. Poor Perfomance Even Worse Amazon Customer Service (02 December 2009)The product just would not ever work without sounding like you were in a tin can. The echo was terrible. I went through the set-up procedures and sequences over 5 times on every combination of settings you could try. I even bought a new phone to see if the phone was the problem. The only thing worse than the product was the customer service from Amazon. I will think very hard before I buy anything from Amazon again. Great Headset (17 November 2009)This Plantronics headset replaced another over-the-head style cordless set. This one takes a little getting used to but overall, it's great. Exceptional clarity in and out and has good range even in less than perfect settings. If you spend a lot of time on the phone, you should seriously consider this unit. |
