Customer Reviews:

Great Noise cancellation, Speaker not loud enough, 3.5mm? (18 August 2010)
After a client placed a number of calls to me via one of these headsets, I was sold that the microphone at least was good enough to cancel out most background noise. Having used Plantronics headsets for many years, it was hard for me to try another brand. The main issue I have always had with headsets attached to cell phones that have NO amplifier, is that you can't adjust the volume in your ear when there is background noise, especially in a car on the highway with a 5 and 6 yr old in the back. They have gotten the microphone part down, and now they need to get the ear piece down. How hard would it be to put a small amp in with a small watch battery? Heck my Plantronics Vista Universal Modular Adapter and Amplifier takes 2 AA batteries and they almost NEVER wear out!

The other thing that would make for a great headset is one that has or come with a 3.5mm adapter Headset Buddy: 2.5mm Phone Headset to 3.5mm Adapter - Convert 2.5mm Headset to 3.5mm iPhone, Blackberry, Palm. With the iPhone, android phones and many others coming standard with 3.5mm you would think that a 3.5mm headset would be standard.

Here's the summary:
PROS--lighter weight than it looks, foldable design is nice as many times my kids will be playing with these and break them also easier to store in a briefcase, head fit is comfortable, noise cancelling is great.
CONS--mute switch has to be pressed and held to engage (makes more sense to have on/off but what do I know), lack of amplifier for earpiece (general complaint rather than a defect in this product).

  KX-TCA92 (17 August 2010)
I like the Panasonic Kx-TCA92. I like the ear cups and overall quality. I have other Panasonic products and am satisfied with them. I also haven't had any problems with the headphones.

  Not bad (25 July 2010)
The sound quality is not bad but not great. It's basically a $20-30 headset. No complaints.

Very good ergonomic design - low volume can't hear well while driving (23 July 2010)
The maximum volume is not loud enough. when driving with road noise you have to tell the other person on the other end to speak loudly. The fit is great otherwise and I do enjoy using in quiet environments.

Price is good, sound is OK... (20 July 2010)
Th is a high quality device that is priced so low, I should not be pinpointing any flaws, but being asked - here it is. Although the product has a volume control AND mute control on the wire for easy access, the volume is limited. In a busy office, louder is necessary and this device does not deliver enough volume to rate 'Great".
