Customer Reviews:

  Great except..... (28 July 2010)
Got this to replace an older Radio Shack set that was jammed by the microwave and WiFi. Does everything it is supposed to do. Features are wonderful. But within a few months one of the handsets believes there is a headset always plugged in and will only funciton with a headset attached. That would be OK except that the jack is extremely touchy and the slightest movement either results in a rainfall of static or the loss of the connection. I am now forced to either buy a new handset at $25 a pop or have just two working handsets.

  A few flaws (27 July 2010)
No matter how high I turn up the volume, its hard to hear. I'd been using the phone company's voice mail. Wasn't anywhere as convenient as pressing a button. But the sound quality is poor -- hard to make out what is being said. and the replay feature isn't as simple as it could be.

I've tried any number of different cordless phones. None seem especially good at what should be something easy. This is as good as I've found -- but that's not high praise

  Great Phones (22 July 2010)
We've had these for almost two years and they're great. Love the phone book, answering machine controls, and caller ID on the handsets. Every now and then when the phone rings one handset will ring continuously until someone picks up, but, for all I know, that could be our internet-based phone service. My son threw a handset on the floor and broke the display screen, but he threw it really hard on a wood floor and the screen was the ONLY thing that broke (and not even all the way), so I think that's still a sign of a good phone. It would be nice if I could turn the sound off completely on the base, but the volume control is good enough. Overall, I'm very happy with everything on this phone

  desapointed (20 July 2010)
The range of this product is not as it says on the web page because when I'm 5 feet away from the base start giving me statics.

  BAD STATIC - There's a reason for 75 bad reviews. (12 July 2010)

I've tried filters, new wires, new base locations and nothing fixes the buzzing static sounds that make the phones nearly impossible to use.

There's a reason there are 75 bad reviews as of this writing with most of them talking about the terrible noise and static problems.

Don't waste your money on this model.
