great earphones (08 September 2010)
Everything great. I drop mine often so I can't blame the lower volume and random scratchy noise in the left ear phone on anything other than my carelessness. Fit well, the rubber keeps them in your ears fairly well when you're exercising and sweaty. They do block out the ambient sounds quite well too.

Can Someone Please Recommend Some Good-Sounding Earbuds that Have a Cord That Doesn't Short-Out by the Plug? (08 September 2010)
As soon as I write this review I am arranging to return these Jbuds to Amazon. This is the 3rd or so pair of Jbuds I have owned, purchased from Amazon. I like the value, I like the sound quality. But when it comes to durability, they are disappointing.

I have used these for literally less than one week, light usage, really; they have already become useless in the same way every other pair of these I have had previously have become useless: the wire has shorted-out where the wire connects to the plug. If I manipulate the wire I can momentarily hear the sound in the Left earbud, then it shorts-out again.

Why cannot I find some earbuds that sound good, last awhile without shorting-out, without costing an arm & a leg?

Super earbuds at a great price (07 September 2010)
The earbuds that came with my iPod Nano 5th generation were awful. I ordered the JBuds and have found them to deliver excellent sound quality, they fit comfortably in my small ear canals and don't fall out easily. I can even sleep on either side with the earbuds in place!

Good value at a low price!

These ear buds are comfortable, but the sound quality is not the best I've heard. I have to turn the volume up to get the same effect as my old headphones, but They are convenient to carry around and feel comfortable in the ears.

Very low bass. Utilize your equalizer on your MP3 player will help. Very comfortable even lying on my side with my pillow while playing music. Low price and comfort - I would recommend this. Excellent while listen to audio books like I do. No bass needed.
