| | Customer Reviews: Good product (22 July 2010)I moved my home audio to a different area of the room than where my TV is. I had to purchase an extender for the IR receiver and with this product I was set. I will say that the sticky tape that came with this is pretty cheap so I used some 3M product I got at Walmart to hold both the IR receiver to the TV and the component itself to the inside of my cabinet. Easy to install and easy to use. Solved all of my problems (17 July 2010)I have my equipment in another room aproximately 25 feet behind my main viewing area. I have tried everything I could think of to reliably control the equipment remotely. X10 Powermids. Harmony and Universal RF remotes. Next Gen RF "saucer". All worked to varying degrees but never 100% reliably. There was always the looming doubt that a button press actually worked (and a lot of times it didn't) or the frustrating multiple registered button press. All this is now a thing of the past. The Hot Link Pro works the first time, every time. Now I can just sit back and enjoy the movie! Hot Link Pro Remote Control Booster System (25 June 2010)Was very easy to hook up, I didn't have to ask anyone to help me. I had no problems. Great product works just like it's supposed to. (19 May 2010)I purchased the Hot Link Pro system to hide all of my components in a closet behind the TV. The product was very easy to setup. It took maybe 5 minutes and works with my Sony receiver (newer model), and Directv dvr/hd receiver. The eye for the Hot Link pro is behind the wall mounted tv and isnt even showing. There isnt any delay when I press a button on the remote like I was expecting to have either. Great booster, easy, fast, and perfect solution (25 April 2010)Had bought a video lift cabinet for my TV and suffered through waiting for the TV to come up and poor performance from the remote from different area of the room. Installed the booster in about 10 minutes, now have the TV, DVD, stereo all hidden in the cabinet and the remotes work better than they did without the booster. I was hesitant to buy, but now highly recommend this product. |
