  HP Jornada 728 (08 June 2010)
Very good product. Excellent transaction - good price, quick delivery, all is well. Thank you!

  Outdated (18 February 2009)
This is more of a toy than a computer. And don't expect to upgrade this past the antiquated Windows 2000 it comes with. If you want a real handheld netbook (or a mini computer) which is up to date, try a Dell Inspirion Mini9 (check out the refurbished ones from the Dell Outlet), or an Acer Aspire One or an ASUS Eee PC. I ended up with the Dell Mini9 with Windows XP and immediately updated/upgraded to a 64GB SSD and 2GB RAM, and installed Vista from a jumpdrive. I also added an external 320GB hard drive and an external DVD-RW. All in all it cost as much as my 17" Laptop, but I needed the mini size. If I did it over again I'd look for one with a regular laptop hard drive instead of an SSD (solid state drive). SSD's are still too expensive and too small.

Uses battery rapidly (26 January 2007)
It uses main battery rapidly. I have tried many batteries and the symptom was the same: the battery indicator went down fast (much worse performance than that of Jornada 720). Sent it back for repair. After I got it back nothing has changed. I would recommend Jornada 720 even despite of less RAM (it also looks better).

How new is this product (14 December 2003)
would like to know how new is this product. Does it have any scratches when u say its refurbished. What are the accessories that come with this prodcut. Basically how new does it looks.

The J720/728 series works with earthlink! (16 March 2003)
I just want to refute the top review here, I have a 720, which is the same as the 728, just less memory, and i have accessed my Earthlink account to get on line more than once. I can't do it from home, but it worked in the expedia cafe in LAX, and in New Jersey, at my relatives' house.
