Customer Reviews:

Great but lasts less than a month (27 July 2010)
VERY comfortable.
VERY good sound isolation.
Completely beats stock ear pieces.

BUT not worth the price.
The memory foam works for about a month and then it turns yellow and doesn't keep the shape anymore. So basically I went through the 3 pairs in about 3 months. $5 a month, $60 a year... My headphones are $100.
If I cared about SQ that much, I can buy a:

$220 headphone that I plan to use for 2 years.
$280 for 3 years
$340 for 4 years
$400 for 5 years....

See not worth it once you do the math. I rather buy a $400 headphone and use it for 5 years, then to spent $300 on foam replacement for a $100 headphone.

Most comfortable replacement tips. (29 May 2010)
I purchased these along with NuForce NE-6 earbuds and they go perfectly together. These are very comfortable and make a nice seal for your in-ear buds. you roll them like earplugs and they expand in your ear. These are great.

Will Eke Out Every Last Bit Of Sound From Your Earphones!! (29 May 2010)
The GOOD:
Super comfortable, Creates a great ear canal seal so you can hear everything that your cans can give (lol for good or
bad) and not the outside noise. Yeah if you are going to reference different earphones make sure they all have these
tips on to even the playing field.

The BAD:
THEY ARE RIDICULOUSLY PRICED FOR SOME LITTLE BITS OF FOAM, SHIRT I BET THE PACKAGING COSTS MORE THAN THE TIPS!

The UGLY: They do what they are supposed to do better than anybody else out there "Bar None" so even though your mind is saying
what a RIP, you actually DO GET what you pay for....Getting the absolute most out of your earphones. It still hurts
though :)

Foam and Sennheiser CX300 earbuds (12 May 2010)
I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX300 ear buds Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds (Black) a couple years ago, after several review searches for ~$30 in-ear 'phones, and have used them when listening to my iPod in bed, on airplanes and when walking.

However, I have always had some trouble with the silicone tips, particularly my left ear. For some reason, the left bud doesn't fit well in my ear canal even with the small silicone tip which suits me best, compared with the medium or large silicone tips. After a while, it seems to work loose and is less comfortable than the right side. Either side, I am occasionally pushing them in to maintain the seal.

Today, I received a 3-pair set of medium-size Comply T400 foam tips, ordered from [...](sorry Amazon!). They work just great! The memory foam is very comfortable and the buds hold nicely in both ears, providing a better seal. In fact, while writing this, I accidentally pulled away from my iPod and the connector pulled out of the iPod, but the left bud that took most of the tension stayed in! I can hardly feel them in my ears now as well. The sound quality is better too with the improved isolation; the bass is stronger.

Unfortunately, the cost of the tips is ridiculously high at about $16 (shipped) for a pair of 3. I understand each pair has a life of maybe 3 months with normal use (whatever that means), less with heavy use. I will monitor and report back. However, this may be a price I have to pay for the improved fit. :-(

If you can bear the cost, these are definitely recommended for comfort and sealing

Foam tips that work (12 May 2010)
These eartips were a really great investment because they are extremely comfortable. I can wear them for hours and not even notice they are there, even though they are inserted deep into my ear canal.

However, they are not easy to attach to the headphones, the fit to the hardware is extremely tight. The foam is very smooth and soft. They are fairly short, so they go deep in your ear. The sound isolation is no better or worse than other tips.
